Project with TOUBAS Team

The 1-2 year project aims to eliminate child malnutrition in Sam Sam, Dakar, an area with a high incidence of poverty and malnutrition. To achieve this goal, it will be carried out:

• Detection of malnutrition states through recurrent somatometric controls of the Child Development Monitoring Programme and analytical determinations.
• Refer detected cases to the Enriched Meal Programme.
• Providing nutritional education to mothers. Providing training workshops on the fundamentals of proper nutrition, as well as on the preparation of Enriched Baby Food.

At the same time, support will be provided for the development of a community garden as a source of access to conscious and healthy food.
