Project with Association Education Solidaire

The Escuelas Pías, located in very marginalised neighbourhoods of Dakar, do a great deal of work to improve access to quality schooling. The 3-year project supports kindergarten and primary school, as well as students who wish to continue on to secondary school and upper secondary school. All this through a system of scholarships and support in the construction of complementary classrooms and a media library to increase coverage and access for families with socio-economic difficulties in the area.

Thiaroye secondary school has a 100% educational success rate in the official baccalaureate entrance exams, thus representing an important springboard for the adolescents who study there.
