What does it consists of?
HUMANIZATION OF HOSPITAL SPACES
Pallapupas bring humour to people of adult age who are going through cancer and are receiving oncological care at the Bellvitge ICO (Barcelona). They are all professionals of the performing arts and have specific training on the hospital environment. They perform in the waiting rooms of radiation oncology and at outpatient care in order to make these spaces more amenable.
In the first person
A look of thanks, a smile… more smiles! A hug, a song, something crazy… With a lot of humanity and respect, we open the door at just the right moment and, like a breath of fresh air, we bring humour and love to the children. Everything is transformed, and emotions flow from one place to another
