Espigoladors

Nous Cims has supported the Espigoladors business plan, which fights against food wastage, while empowering people at risk of social exclusion. The word “espigar” in Catalan language refers to the ancient practice of collecting the stalks of cereals that were left in the field after reaping. Espigoldors has brought this concept up to date: it recovers the discarded fruits and vegetables and channels 95% of the collected food to social entities, transforming the rest into preserves.
