OFFERING INTEGRATED PSYCHO-SOCIAL SUPPORT AS A COMPLEMENT TO MEDICAL TREATMENT
Nous Cims has made the Kalida Foundation a reality, contributing the necessary resources and a team of highly qualified professionals who are committed to the humanization of hospital services. The entity promotes psycho-social care not only for people with cancer, but also their family and friends, and it creates warm, comfortable places located close to the Oncology services of public hospitals of reference. The first centre inaugurated in Spain is called Kalida Sant Pau, in Barcelona, where emotional, social and practical support is offered free-of-charge and without having to request a prior appointment, as a complement to medical treatments.
